VINCENT ORTIZ & HIS STORY

In mid-2010, Vincent Ortiz wrote his first song and spent years refining his songwriting before releasing any music publicly. A multi-talented singer-songwriter, Vincent performs vocals, piano, drums, guitar, and synths while also producing his own music.

Beyond music, Vincent has dedicated years to studying human connection and communication. With more than 2,000 hours of professional training in communication and neurolinguistics, along with studies in psychology, sociology, child development, attachment theory, and personality pattern analysis, and professional experience as a former music teacher, preschool teacher, and Music Academy Director, Vincent's mission extends far beyond entertainment.

Through vulnerability, authenticity, and emotionally driven music, Vincent aims to bring people together, help mend broken hearts, and inspire healing from generational trauma. By leading through example, he hopes to create lasting cultural change and encourage deeper human connection.

With the release of his debut single, Breathe, Vincent opened a deeply personal chapter of his artistry. The song explores self-reflection, personal growth, and the conscious choice of who we become through life's challenges. Through honest lyrics and emotional vulnerability, Breathe expresses regret, confronts insecurities, and reminds listeners that being human means embracing both our flaws and our capacity to grow.

Now, Vincent is preparing to release his next single, Lakeside, a heartfelt love song inspired by true love, community, and hope. Written with the aftermath of the Eaton Fire in mind, the song imagines Vincent's perfect summer day at the lake, where family, friends, neighbors, and loved ones gather to celebrate love, and find hope even in difficult seasons even in the face of fear. The song also holds personal significance, drawing inspiration from both Lake Avenue and the lake itself, which have played meaningful roles in Vincent's story. Lyrics are also inspired in part by the biblical book, Song of Songs. Lakeside also contains subtle musical references to timeless classic mo-town love songs, and inside jokes.

Vincent's vision for Lakeside extends beyond music. He hopes the song will become a unifying anthem that celebrates resilience while encouraging healing and deeper human connection. To bring that vision to life, he is collaborating with acclaimed mixing engineer Irko, whose work includes artists such as Ye, Jay-Z, André 3000, The Weeknd, Alicia Keys, Tyler, the Creator, Travis Scott, Jack Harlow, Peso Pluma, and many others, ensuring the song is produced at the highest professional level. He's also teaming up with a producer from Atlanta/Nashville since Vincent likes his current portfolio.

In partnership with local churches and community organizations throughout Pasadena and Altadena—including Vintage Church Pasadena and its Alta Leaders program—Vincent also plans to produce a community-centered music video that highlights resilience, hope, and opportunities to support families still recovering from the Eaton Fire. Through Lakeside, Vincent continues pursuing his lifelong mission: creating music that not only entertains, but also brings people together, strengthens communities, and leaves a lasting, positive impact for inspiring love.
